Background

Dr Edward Bach (pronounced as ‘Batch’) was a noted doctor, homeopath, bacteriologist and immunologist. He studied medicine first in Birmingham and later at the University College Hospital, London, where he was a House Surgeon. He gave up his successful Harley Street Practice in London to develop his new system of healing.

In his quest Dr Bach turned to nature and discovered a simple system that people could take freely and easily when required. He found that when he treated the personalities and feelings of his patients their unhappiness and physical distress would be alleviated naturally as the healing potential in their bodies was unblocked and allowed to work once more.

Bach Flower Remedies (Remedies / BFR)

The Remedies, discovered by Dr. Bach, are made out of 38 flowers and each one corresponds to a certain emotional state (eg. fear, anger, sadness...) or mind type (eg. submissive, solitary, aggressive,...). The vibrational energy of the flower is captured in the memory of water and then further processed to obtain mother tincture. The remedies form a wonderful harmonizing system for disruptive emotional states. The Remedies are based on the healing power of nature, simple to use and do not interfere with any other medical treatment. They can safely be taken along with any other medication.

Who is a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner (BFRP)?

BFRP is a practitioner who holds a certificate of registration issued by the Bach Centre (UK) and is an appropriately trained person who has followed an approved program of education and assessments to ensure that the practitioner is competent to recognize the problems and use appropriate remedies in a professional practice. An active BFRP is registered with the Bach Center’s Bach Foundation International Register of Practitioners.

Roopa Sharma is BFRP registered with Bach Centre, UK (http://www.bachcentre.com/found/ref/india.php)

She is also the first trained teacher (in India) authorised by the Bach Centre to teach Bach Flower Remedies. [Bach Foundation Teacher’s Program]
